Verification Documents: Sellers who complete identity verification submit their full legal name, business name, phone number, and a government-issued photo ID. These documents are stored in a secure, private storage bucket and are only accessible to authorized administrators.

Listing Data: When you create a listing, we collect aircraft details including make, model, year, specifications, pricing, location, photos, descriptions, and any brochure documents you upload.

Communications: Messages sent through our platform messaging system are stored to facilitate conversations between buyers and sellers.

Saved Searches & Preferences: We store your saved search criteria and notification preferences to send you email alerts when matching listings are posted.

Usage Data: We automatically collect certain information when you visit the Platform, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Display your listings and profile to other users.
• Facilitate messaging between buyers and sellers.
• Send transactional emails, including welcome emails, message notifications, saved search alerts, and listing expiration notices.
• Verify seller identity to maintain marketplace trust and integrity.
• Moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Improve and optimize the Platform.

Silver Hangar uses the following third-party services to operate the Platform. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data:

• Supabase— Provides our database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure. Your account data, listings, messages, and uploaded files are stored on Supabase servers. Supabase encrypts data in transit and at rest.
• Resend— Handles delivery of transactional emails. When we send you an email, your email address and the email content are processed by Resend's servers.
• Vercel— Hosts the Silver Hangar website. Vercel may collect standard web analytics data such as IP addresses and request metadata.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Specifically:

• Account data is retained until you request account deletion.
• Listings are retained while active and for a reasonable period after expiration or removal for record-keeping.
• Messagesare retained for the duration of the conversation participants' accounts.
• Verification documents are retained for the duration of your seller account and for a reasonable period after account closure, as required for compliance.
• Usage data is retained in aggregate form for analytics and may be anonymized over time.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
• Secure authentication via Supabase Auth with hashed passwords.
• Private storage buckets for sensitive documents (e.g., verification IDs) that are not publicly accessible.
• Role-based access controls ensuring only authorized administrators can access sensitive data.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
